Ok, Ive been trying to figure out what to say here for about an hour now...Still no ideas so Ill just jump in with both feet. Some of you here know Me, or at least know of Me...My name is Larry, and I am a metal spinner and a machinist. Ive been in the skilled trades for almost 20 years, quite a feat considering Im still in My early 30s. I doubt I can be of much help to many of you in the field of hotrods, Ive never cut a wishbone or built a frame...My personal area of endeavour lies in making that wishbone stronger and improving the metallurgical qualities of that frame. I am also pretty good at making that peculiar one off part for just about anything, a skill I learned from gunsmithing and building custom guns. Just for the record, Im also a certified and licensed locksmith...In short Im a tinkerer, if I see a weak spot I try to improve it. Im just beginning My first true hotrod project, So far I have a SBF powerplant and am hunting for a frame and body. Thus far, most experience I have is with FLM muscle cars...I currently own a 1969 Merc X100, ever see one? Thats why I have it. Mustangs and Vettes are for the rich bastards that can afford to go buy their "project" already finished off ebay...If you dont have to hunt for parts and eventually build what you need because it isnt out there it aint a real project. Hotrods are meant to be built by the guys that actually drive them, not mass marketed cookie cutter cars like you see littering the airwaves these days by overpaid hamfisted ill tempered hacks...
