I'm at a point now where I need to decide what style and length ladder bars I'll be using on the HAG.....(Hokey Ass Gasser)
Anybody have any plans or designs they like?......
I'm running factory parallel leaf springs and a Ford nine inch out back.....
Or maybe you have a set, or know of a set that are up for grabs?....I need to build some anyway....so I might be better off giving it a try......
Post some pics and give me some ideas.....Thanks, Neal

Thanks, send me some pics...
How long do you want them? I can Give you some measurments off of mine. But they dont go to the middle of the body if thats the style you're looking for.
These are S&W gasser bars - 42" long. Ladder bars should reach close to the transmission yolk to work best for the street, and the bushing in front allows movement without binding.

Take a look at these for ideas

or

I was looking at them cause they use a urethane bushing up front. Definately not for use with parallel leaf springs unless you use floaters to mount the leaf springs.

Didn't even see Mutt's post.
This is a pic of the lakewood bolt on type for use with leaf springs:
they should be long enough to place the front pivot on a line between the tires contact patch and the cars center of gravity.
mine are only 29" long

These are supposed to be used with the leaf spring supension...but I don't care for the bulky look of them....

The ladder bars Mutt and Beatnik posted are the style I've been wanting to build for some time now........I was looking for something more with the "look" for the cars I'm building .....maybe the "I just woke up today, took my car for a spin, are the Doobie Brothers still together?" kind of time frame......

Maybe not what you want but I am going to build a set of these for my truck. They are good for traction but they allow movement for the suspension. http://www.hotrodsandhemis.com/ go to the 53 truck section and then traction bars
