is my blower motor gone?

My heater doesnt work in my comet and i decided to work on it tonight. There were 3 wires coming from the motor, black,red, and orange. I hooked up a live wire to the red one then the orange one. Nothing happened. Does this mean that my blower motor is gone? Thanks Nate

Didja hook the black one to ground at the same time..Does it turn by hand? Does it turn smoothly or rough, like theres sand in it? Its probably toast. I'll see if I have one.

everything was hooked up in the car, the ground was hooked up i didnt see if it turned freely or not but i will. Thanks Nate
