because it is in my plan of attack.

it doesn't look too difficult, but i'd like to hear from somebody that has done it before i go jumping off any bridges...

here is how i did mine as you can see in the pick on the left there is a rag in it snice we were welding, bug just take a piece of hose for the time begin and clamp it, then you can close off your gas door

If you run an aftermarket tank you could just opt for the filler to be on top in the center.

You gonna make this thang smoove? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I'm not sure how the filler tube comes through the floor in the Chevy. Cut the steel tube inside the trunk were you can attach another to it. You can use a fill tube and cap from anything just make sure the cap is not vented. Put a vent in the tube by the cap and run a vent hose to the outside of the car. Where you connect the filler tube with the cap to the tube going into the tank make sure you use rubber hose made for that. Parts stores sell rubber hose that looks like rad hose but is made fuel fillers. It costs a little more but the gas will not eat it up.
