Late 40's grey haired FNG from Oconomowoc, WI. I have been lurking for about 3 years and figure it was about time. Like all the tradional rods and vintage speed stuff. Current garage has 32 Ford with a 348 Chev and 1928 Ford Truck, Flathead powered with 5 speed. Hope to have some fun here and not get in the way. Thanks!

Here's the '32. RHD New Zealand car with 348. It's a 3 year old pic, the car now has '36 Ford column with banjo wheel and paint on the grill shell. I'll try to get some pics of the truck latter.

I remember seeing that 32 roadster featured in NZHotrod magazine many years ago, why it stood out-the 348, the wires and the owner/builder took 13yrs to build it and it cost $13k at the time ie $1k per year of build.

I was hoping that some of the NZ guys would remember this car. I don't know much of the history on this '32 Ford but I bought it from a guy in Idaho about 3 years ago. I believe he bought it from a guy in California about 2 years before that. If you can find me the magazine that it was in I would be glad to pay you for it or send you something from the USA. Someday I'll post it on the main board and see if any more NZ rodders know any more about this car.

Oconama... ah, Ocontonmo... O'conermerwah....oops, sorry, so, you're from Cooney huh? I used to live in Brookfield. I affectionatley describe my old home State of Wiconsin as having Outrageous Taxes, Terrible Weather, Rusty Cars and Frizzy Hair.

Welcome from sunny Colorado.

Yup thats right Oconomowoc, sometimes known as Cooney or 5-Os. Taxes are too high in every state, they find away to get you one way or another. We do have great beer, brats and hot rod friendly motor vehicle laws. Don't worry about the weather, if you don't like it today its always different tomorrow.
