trouble commenting or starting new threads

when i try to add a comment to someones post or start my own new thread, it takes about 3-5 minutes to bring up the screen. anyone else have this problem? some times it doesnt even bring up the posting screen it just goes to that blank tan/khaki colored screen and stops. very frustrating.

anyone know if this can be fixed?

There had previously been some server problems which are being upgraded. Performance may be affected by your modem as well. I am on a DSL line and mine pops right up.

im using a cable modem.

DSL here, too, but still have had many "lags" in the last week or so.
