Hello to all. My name is Charles but I prefer Chuck. My login name,retiredshack reflects the fact that I worked for RadioShack for almost 35 years before being forced to retire due to health concerns. I am 65 years young,divorced 12 years ago and have 2 grown kids,a daughter 33 yrs old and the mother of my two grand daughters. She and her hubby live in New Jersey. My son,30 years old this April is the manager of a Deli and engaged to be married sometime in the future(maybe). I live in Queensbury,NY about 60 miles north of Albany. I am working on a long time restoration of a 1950 Ford Custom Deluxe Fordor. The main reason it is taking many years is that I am attempting to do most everything myself.This means I am learning as I go and some things need to be done more than once.I expect to have it on the road this spring. Mostly done except for a few small dents and such.In primer,all new chrome,Lebaron Bonney interior,all new brakes and a rebuilt flatty with under 200 miles. I mostly hang out on the Shoebox.com site but have been a lurker on this site off and on for a few years.I don't expect to post many requests but will post replies anytime a question comes up where I feel I can help.
