Public Groups?

When I click on my handle, among other things, it states that I am not a member of any Public Groups. What is a Public Group?

On some forums there are groups. These groups are by catagory, friends or whatever...

I'll give you an example from one forum


Redneck Mafia = Mods
Redneck Girl = female
Redneck = male
Cowboy = male
Cowgirl = female
Rebel Chick = female with attitude
Rebel = male with attitude
Goober = farmer
Smart Ass = a joker
Banned = the unwanted
