Ok guys I have a couple questions,I mocked up a small block in my A bone project. How much room do you guys got between your firewall and dist? since I took this pic I have narrowed the gap to about a half an inch, but it still looks long between the firewall and radiator.Pay no attention to the carb setup it's top secret.

I'm planning on a 32 shell. How much thicker than a model A shell is a 32 shell? Right now I have about 30" between the firewall and grill shell.
My next question is about engine height. My oilpan is about 4" below the frame and it seems a little low. If I use the bottom of the block/top of the oilpan for a reference point, how far above the top of the frame should it be? Right now I'm level with the top of the frame.
