Friend of mine is in Chile right now and found this one for about $1000. Shabby but complete.
They are rare in Europe, but how much do you have to pay for one of those in the US?

That would be a good price here in Los Angeles area but it's going to need a hood if he doesn't get that damn battery off there pronto!

If the floors are good in it, he had better go for it. i would think that around here, it would run from $2500 to $3500 pretty easy. looks to mostly be there, so that is a plus. a friend of mine bought one this fall for $2900 and drove it home. it needed a ton of body work tho.i traded some nice fenders to him, as his were beat. if he gets it and needs any parts let me know, as i have more than i need and have been selling them off.

I am not telling what this one cost me
But the frame is now compelte with suspension and the body is in the air, ready fro the frame to go back under it,
That frame has been out of this for several years, now.

JimC your car looks like a Ford, not a Mercury. I gave $85 for my 47 Mercury and drove it home. Oh wait, that was in 1967. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I still have it.
