Hey all! Im looking for some cluster pinstripe designs. The classic ones you'd most likely see on hoods or trunks.

I took a bunch of pictures at local cruise-ins and rod shows last summer, but they all came out fuzzy.

And looking online just brings up a bunch of pinstriped suits!

I know there are a lot of you here that are very talented with striping, and either have pics of your work or pics of work you admire.

Heres what I could find on the net to give you guys an idea. If you could share some hood or trunk 'cluster' designs, I'd appreicate it.

( mainly looking for something that has a good amount of activity in the center, and then reaches out at the bottom to the left and right http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif )

Thanks a lot for sharing any ideas!!

this is all I could find on my computer, it was posted on here a long time ago, think it's some of skratch's work. I'm kinda fond of it.

Wish I could find more pics of his work, but when I was at the Road Agents show this summer there were some amazing pieces done by a guy who was signing them "Hook" Anybody have any pics of his work? Or know who he is? Smaller pieces and incredibly intricate. Otherwise I dig Switchblade327's contribution.

That would be Larry Hook out of Cumberland RI.He does some really incredible work and is a really nice guy when you get to know him.He owns my cousins old 32(originally built by Norm Wallace in NH that was at Pebble Beach several years ago)and is currently restoring the Bannister Brothers 32 that was built in the 40's and featured on the cover of Cool Cars and Square Roll Bars.

Thanks Joel;I did that car for a friend about 12 years ago and took those pics last year at a cruise night in Massachusetts.Donnie keeps all his cars in great shape. He has a 40 Ford pickup that Kelsey Martin flamed and I striped probably 20 years ago and it looks like it was done yesterday.

yep that is him. Thanks Ray. dig your work too.

Yeah I was just amazed by his work. About half a dozen cars at the show carried his work and I had lots of pics but I lost the file. Ah shit sometimes I hate my digital camera.

Thanks again..

Sorry Monster I don't mean to be highjacking. One more request and I will shut up. Does anybody have any pics of Bob Spina's work? That guy seems like he has his own flavor when it comes to striping. Okay I am done and have rezipped the mouth of my gimp mask.......

both those sites are pretty cool. thanks for sharing!

Since were on the pinstriping topic, does anyone have any pinstriping tattoos? Or any pics you have that you like of people with pinstripe tattoos?

Thanks http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
