I've used these, they work. I plan to buy them for all the ol' Ketterings in my stable.

I've got a friend that bought one (pretty sure the same source) and he said it leaked just a little. He said he was told that some of the threads were just a little different (cut vs. rolled or something) and that he should try the adapter on another oil filter flange. So I sold my friend three more flanges. Haven't heard a verdict yet.
I've used those adapters on Nailheads. Seem to work great. Haven't had a problem at all.

I see that I am reviving an old thread...
Anyhow, I just installed one of these and there was oil leaking between the stock filter housing and the new filter adapter when I tried to prime up my engine. I took it apart and re-installed a few times, but no luck (followed the instructions exactly). Anyone else running of these successfully?
I assuming that perhaps my original filter housing may not be true. My options at this point are to: 1) Run the stock set-up (but I would prefer updated filtration); 2) Run a remote mount set-up.
I have not contacted the mfg, but I purchased it so long ago that I will probably chalk it up as a lose.
