(She's from Atlanta) Hey, we're here in the Valley of the Sun. I've been foolin' with these old cars since the 47 Chevy coupe I bought when I was 14, which was a long time ago. I did the NHRA thing for many years, running Stockers and Super Stockers.
Right now, I've got this ol' 455 Pontiac under the workbench that needs to be put into something. I'm thinking about, maybe a 49 to 56 2 dr Pontiac, done up gasser- style. Any leads?
I'm also into older twin cylinder motorcycles. I've had a few Triumphs and BSA's. Right now I've got two XS 650's that I'm working on. The first one is almost done as sort of a fake Bonneville, and the second one will be a bare bones old style chopper.
One more thing. I'm promoting a series of Nostalgia events at the local dragstrip here in town .
I hope to get to know many of you in the coming months.
