I am from Richmond Va.

I am 36, short, and square (and not very heavy).

I have three cars: 1927 T roadster (red white and blue), a hand hammered aluminum 26 T touring car, and a 29 coupe channeled, not chopped.

I built all of them plus one that got away (a 27 T speedster).

I occasionally pull a 63 Serro Scotty camper, no paint, with a front kitchen.

I am in manufacturing as a profession, specifically aluminum garden furniture.

I got my degree in sculpture from VCU, focused in metalwork.

My favorite event is the Jalopy Showdown. I am bringing my "no club" club Carl and his Stupid Car Buddies with me this year. Or that is the plan anyway.

I look forward to this monster of a board. I joined about 5 years ago and got distracted by the Heavy Rebel Message board. Lurked a bit, then forgot my password. Have not been back much since then. This board is a lot different now, things happen much faster. I found it a little intimidating back then. I am over being intimidated now. If it is not going to work out, it will be pretty obvious.

Thanks guys for the welcome.

Sawzall, thanks for the pics.

Work has me hemmed in pretty good right now. The good news is that the machine work on my hemi should be done tomorrow. I am going to try to get some work done on it this weekend.

Thanks again.

Here is the progress on the 354.

Bottom end sewn up, heads on, cam in, water pump and cross over bolted on.

I plan on breaking in the motor with a single 4 bbl. The intake I have is a stock one. If it did not weigh 80 lbs. I might run it with that.

I have a Weiand 4 2's, but it has been ceramic coated and I want to cut the webbing out from between the runners. I am told that the coating will bead blast off. I am still un decided.

I would like some more options. I do not really like the look of the 2 4's that hotheads sells. I don't suppose that any one has any early hemi intakes they might part with?

Tony- I am planning on the Showdown. I want to do the drags on sunday. Cant figure out which car to bring. I hope that you will be able to stay for sunday.

Lulabelle- thank you, like wise.
