This is a 1/64th scale Hot Wheels casting that I modified. I was lurking while my hand healed and gritting my teeth at the meager progress I have been able to make after the holidays, but exercise and a trip to the workshop has healed all effects of my hand surgery. The Bone Shaker has been fitted with opening doors, a 5th window, chrome sun visor and some red spokes. Enjoy! Oh yeah.... It ROLLS!

Considering the time of my post, it's been a long week! Anyway, this reminded me of the model I found in my Grandpa's basement after he passed recently. The amazing thing here is that it was done by my Dad when he was growing up in the 50's, and look at my current build!

That’s the same thing I thought when they told me. At least it has a V8.
The host club picks a combination of member and participant cars to go on the flyers and t-shirts. Them smoke stacks would have never made otherwise.
Hopefully the change has been set for next year!

Thanks for the Kudos. I love all the art here and the art that is the cars themselves. Someone once told me that if you were blindfolded and could tell a car and year just from running your hand over the fender you pretty much knew your cars. Of course beauty and art and the opinions that go with them are in the eye of the beholder which makes what we each do all the more appealing. I took a few more pics to share with a prop to show the scale more accurately. Enjoy them and ask questions. I am happy to share in this little niche of the hobby.
