hey everyone, found this sight while looking for info on Gambino Kustoms. I've known about the sight for a long time but never viewed or gotten involved until this week.
Proud owner of a 1963 1/2 Ford Falcon Futura. Mild custom. added a floor shifter and C4 tranny, changed the engine from 260 to 289 V8, redid the floor rust, new wiring throughout the car, new gas tank, suspension pieces, mostly bolt-ons. Detail stuff mostly as money's been tight and time even tighter and ideas changing every year - have had the car for 9 years.
Love everything about customs and hot rods cars and trucks. Looking for meeting and getting to know more bay area rodders to help me grow in my understanding and skills with cars.
The falcon is my first old car and I've learned everything I know through trial and error. Proudest moment so far was the first day i started my ground up rebuilt engine (all but the machining done by me). Roared to life! :) the car is in process and I hope to have it on the road in less than a month, but that may change (2 small kids at home)
Engineer - medical devices by day and woodworking, car nut by night.
hope to be able to meet some HAMBs during this year at some local shows or get togethers.
