I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a tech for NASA I build spacecraft durring the day and wrench on cars at night. My main car is a 60 impala 2drht with a zz3 crate motor. It's been on the ground and staying there for almost 15 years now. I can't stand the question (does that thing have hydraulics?) I've cutomized many cars in that time but this is the one i will keep till I die.

Well, I think this is the first time we've had a REAL rocket scientist on board... , sorry couldn't resist...
So, if the '60 is on the ground...does that mean it doesn't have wheels and it's sitting on the frame  ...or it's been severly lowered...???
I know what you mean about the hydraulic question...that's the only thing "normal" people know to ask...I get it all the time too...and my '57 sets only 4" off the ground...get used to it or tell them it's a kustom and kustoms don't use hydraulics......
FWIW, welcome...

40 stude dude, how'd you get your '57 to set so low?
Welcome to the group. This is a great place and a lot of folks like the '60 Chevys. I have had one since new in Nov.59. Happy HAMBing!!
