I went to an RV show last night. While I was dodging cheesy salesmen in plaid sportcoats I found this brochure for a teardrop style trailer. It's bigger than a teardrop , has a 2 way fridge and 2 burner stove and the bed makes out to 70 by 80 inches that's queensize! Anyway, kinda cool looking compared to all the fibereglass monster 5th wheels. It weighs 1320 lbs and has a tongue weight of 110 so just about anything can pull it.

That`d be alright if ya got rid of the dorky wheels and fake checkerplate.

"The T@B is a 16 foot " Microlite " travel trailer retailing in the $12,000 - $13,000 price range"
Got this from a travel trailer mag site.

Not to hijack yer post, but there's what seems to be a decent little teardrop camper on Ebay. It's in Chicago- if it were a few states closer I'd own it. $350 and no bids- maybe cuz 'camper' isn't in the title?
I don't know, seems a little less painful than 12 or 13k to me.
Not mine, just thought I'd pass along the tip if anyone was interested...

Yeesh, that seems like a lot of money just for a fairly small trailer...plus the cheesy orange stuff doesn't look too good.

Seems like that style would go well with the more plastic looking modern cars...I think it would look very out of place with my chopped '51 pulling it though. At $12-13K thats a whole lot of money. I know that you can build a decent teardrop kit for $1500-$3000 depending on how crazy you go with it.
