I am so sorry to hear the news http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif My condolences to you and your family.
Although we have never met in person I feel a special friendship with you thru our emails and PM's. PLEASE, if there is anything I can do, PLEASE don't hesitate to let me know. I realize there is an ocean between us but feel free to PM or email me if you need to "talk". My heart goes out to you bud.
I lost a boyfriend I loved very much a few years ago and although the pain never goes away, it does get easier to deal with over time. Stay in touch. You've got lots of friends here as support.

I can't say that I know what it is like to lose a wife but I did recently lose a son and my mother...may time and the good thoughts and prayers of those near you bear you through this difficult time. This too will pass...sorry for your loss.
We just had our 16th anniversery last month. I trembled when I thought about losing my best friend when reading your post. You have something that so many today can't find. Love. Cherish the time you had together and take knowledge that she'll always be with you.
You have my sympathy. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

John, I was sad to hear of the passing of your wife/soulmate, I hope this poem will bring some healing!
When I must leave you for a little while,
Please go on bravely with a gallant smile
And for my sake and in my name,
Live on and do all things the same.
Spend not your life in empty days,
But fill each waking hour in useful ways.
Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer,
And I in turn will confort you and hold you near.
Best wishes, Mark

I'm new to this area of the net and the company kept here, this group sounds like if you need something just ask and people go out of their to help, with people like that on your side the pain will soften, take care of yourself and she will save you a good spot in the back row of the eternal drive in when you get there, sorry for your pain, Steve

MeesterP so sorry to hear, nothing we can say or do will take away the hurt you are feeling but to know so many are thinking of you & your loss must be a small comfort.
I'm not that far away (Swindon) so if there's anything i can do just give me a shout.
I'm still deep in thought as we just buried my cousin yesterday she was 42 & died in her sleep, leaving a husband & two kids.
Just a reminder to take every day as it comes, take care.

Hi all,
I havn't been on here for a while but I hope you will excuse me at this time for not re-posting an intro. I am a friend and clubmate of Meester P's.
just to let you know, I have spoken to him this morning. He is doing OK - the funeral is tomorrow.
He hasn't been able as yet to read all these kind words, so has asked me to collate them all into a single document that he can print off and keep.
I'm sure that soon he will be back to thank you all for your kind words and prayers in person but in the meantime I would like to thank you all on his behalf. Your support and prayers are very much appreciated.
