Need one for the bench seat in the 39. Up north here they
aren't to common. The ones on ebay are gay. What is good
material? Anyone got a connection?

All Mexican blankets are gay, not just the ones on ebay.
I'm looking for a 'Dogs Playing Poker' wall tapestry to make a seat cover out of, where may I find one?

Tia Juana...
And you have to go there yourself,
so along with DESERVING to have the blanket in your car you can tell the great story about how the tia vieja wanted $200 for the blanket but you bartered it down to $7.50 and how you got the revenge from the lemonade she gave you... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If you don't go get it yourself you should be using the alternate seat cover, the blanket you stole when you got out of the National Guard. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

(My mother stole a blanket from the RAF when she got out after WW II. I still have the moth nibbled old thing. It's white wool.)

(The above is meant as a funny, and take it lightly!)

....I with Dr J, any self respecting mexican blanket will only provide itself after a few shots, and fling with hot body hacienda honey...though there are a few other towns on the other sid of the border that come to mind other than Tia....

Go south on highway 5, slow down for that speedbump just past San Diego, and when it gets all dark and smells funny there should be lots of shops that sell them ass cheap.

JUST MAKE SURE YOU GOT A FRONT LICENSE PLATE ON YOUR CAR AND LEAVE THE BONG AT HOME!!!!!

dont ask...

A mexi blanket in a rat rod that's more than an hour from the border always seems out of place to me. Northern rodders really ought to use Army blankets or possibly stadium blankets.

Here's where I got mine. They have a lot of colors I couldn't find in the little Mexico section of town. They're the bigger ones too.

I have a dark blue wool "throw" blanket I ganked off of the C-5 cargo jet we flew back from the desert on when I was in the Air Force. it's gonna be my seat cover some day. it's got usaf stamped in black on it. also got my g-pas Korean war blanket he hauled around with him in the war. it's even got two holes in it from when he got shot two of the four times! how's that for character in a seat cover. that one won't be goin on no seat though.

I've got my Dads army blanket on my back seat. it is gray with a couple of black stripes. alittle lable says Australia 1943, plus little iron on names my mom put on one after another when my sisters and i went to 6th grade camp.
