The lego builds are nice. My nephew is 7 and for the last 3 years he has lived for legos. Building jets and space ships. I'll show him the pics and help plant the hotrod seed in him early.

I think a name change to B.A. Gordon is appropriate. That just flatout rocks.

First, my first purse work. Got this free at a garage sale last summer, and under a pile of junk I found it today. So I painted it.

Front- No I didnt paint this

Back-

And a aluminum tray I also got at a garage sale that I painted while I was bored a little while ago.

http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/7904/art0666do.jpg

And finally, trying to make a half decent clock this time. I used an old record.

Don't feel bad Nick-no one says anything about my stuff either. The new stuff is kool, except the paint on the cars looks flat-maybe some gradient/lower tone stuff on the back to add perspective. The bumpers came out great!:D

An F150 I did this week.I tried to make the transition along the doors something more than just a kickup of the stripe. The other pic is a project I'm working on that has to be finished next week.Carved a couple of surfboards out of 2" High density foam 4' long. This is the roughed out version. They have since been 'glassed, the skeg cut to size, and are being skim coated with bondo prior to paint.

So, hows a guy suppose to follow that one?

I've been working the last couple of weeks, or not working, depending on how you look at it....

I had the oppertunity to have some of my Desk Top Art Work models displayed at the indoor car show this weekend in Rock Island IL. They are in the DJs booth, in case you were looking for them. Been busting my butt the last couple weeks, so I'm not sure what I've posted and what I haven't. Figure 15 to 20 hours each plus real work. These have all been built in 06. You lucky guys get to see all of the last 6.
#67 is a painted one, my car club has an annual pine wood derby, this has a wood base with a steel body. Its racing career was less the great.
#68 is a Gremblin dirt track modified. it was built for the show and is for sale if it don't sell at the show.
#69 was an ordered car. It is BobK's 51 Chevy Convert.
#70 is a late 30s hot rod coupe. It was built for the show and is for sale.
#71 is a rendition of a very early Harley. It was built for the show and is for sale.
#72 is a roadster pickup. It was built for the show and is for sale.

Hey, thanks. The guys in my car club are a little on the cheap side. They use two pair of house rain gutters for the "track" with a cardboard starting gate, :D real hi-tech stuff. The gutters are 3 years old now, and some what less then straight or level. The little white car really rolls pretty easy, but got caught up in one of the "track imperfections" bounced up and almost turned sideways, then rubbed on the side. I only lost by..... well.... ok......it wasn't even close. Oh well, we had fun, thats what it was all about. They did tell me we get a new track for next year.

Let me put on my car salesman striped suit coat..... That little low mile hot rod is fer sale son...You kin be racin it next week.
