So, I pulled the drain plug on my Hemi today. I got half a gallon of water out of it before the oil http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif I'm betting the block is cracked inside. I know it threw a rod once, but it was sleeved and the chip was welded shut. It looked like a quality weld too.

I hope my oil pump isn't all rusty...

If it's clean water and not mixed with the oil looking like a chocolate shake? and it was parked outside it could be rain getting in somewhere or vandalism...garden hose prank.

i dont understand how the water would come out first wouldnt the water settle to the top of the oil? Not sure, hope everything turns out well for you! nate

It's not condensation. to much water. I never ran it, so it never has antifreeze in it. I did pull the block drains before I stored it, and it was never outside when it was below freezing.

Just water, then water mixed with oil, then cream cheeze looking goo.

The exact same thing came out of my 283 that had been under a shut hood for years. The water was CRYSTAL clear. The inside of the block (all the machined surfaces) and rotating assembly were totally rust-free too.

I found it very strange.
