I've been hanging around form a while and picking up lots of usefull info and ideas. I'm in the process of building a 1957 Pontiac Chieftain. My wife has been pretty understanding considering the ammount of time I've been spending underneth the hood, at the junk yards and on the net!
The car is cool, most people glance at it and think it's a Chevy and then start asking questions. When I found it it hadn't been running in about 8yrs. I had it fired up and went form a trip around the block in less than a week.
I've been bitten by the bug and now I'm trying to get a couple of projects that my uncle has long since given up on... on is a '31 Model A pickup and the other is a cool Bantam Coupe.
Anyway that's enough about me.

Yes it'll fit 55-60 blocks and I get them all day long for about 75 frog skins.

I did say Bantam. It is a long forgotten project of my uncles. It was started in the early 70's and stopped shortly after the mockup stage. Luckily it has been neatly packed away in his garage ever since. The body is very nice no rust and no damage. I will restart this project one day. It won't be the best ride for me though standing 6'3" 250lbs. I remember sitting in it as a teenager and it was small then!

My older brother had one just like that when I was a kid back in the late '60s. His was bone stock. I really loved that car. IMHO, it rode as good as or better than new cars at that time. It wasn't real fast, but the interior room, styling and ride quality made up for the lack of performance. I sure do wish he hadn't traded it for that POS Maverick in the early '70's. I have no doubt that you will enjoy that beautiful old injun!:)

Look at it this way:
It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
