Abelugo Lives in So Cal, namely the Pomona area. He has a pair of 1/4 panels that are too big to ship Fedex or UPS and the truck freight companies are damn expensive! These 1/4 panels are light but looong 53 Stude items and Abe said he even wrapped them in cardboard....and he said he could deliver them to about anywhere in so cal to begin the HAMB-relay...
My question? Is anybody in the So Cal area coming east on I-80 with a pickup or van big enough to haul these to my ass in Omaha? How about part way for a HAMB-relay? Any help for a bruthah! I appreciate it.

I probably can't be too much help since I'm sort of on the wrong side of things. Sorry. I mainly just stuck my nose in to see how things went with ponchobilly? I didn't really realize he was going a couple hours out of his way for this deal. No calls from him so I assume he knows his way? Can't thank the guy enough, man. He really helped me.

Rocky - did you check with Greyhound? I had a large fender for a Scout shipped couple months ago for $40. Just a thought.

Yeah, I had a dream about it last night and woke up covered in white hair. What's up with that?

Greyhound is the way to go on lots of stuff. But it's gotta fit in that bus compartment, and you need to be there when it comes in. When I got out of the NAVY, I boxed up all my stuff and put it on the bus. (A sailor living on a ship doesn't have all that much stuff!) Then I hopped on the bike and rode home. Got my stuff off the bus about 12 hours after I got to Idaho Falls.

This request is a little further out of the way than I can handle. Just rolled in and everything went pretty smooth. I'll tell ya all about it when I get settled in. Good Luck, boys!
