No pain, no gain...right?! I'm sure it wasn't easy, but it'll help you move on to bigger and better things like the MFS and eventually an even cooler ride than the 54!

I unnerstand, little buddy...I hadda sell my lucky 56 poncho to pay the closing costs on my house in '84. I watched the new owner drive it away until it went outta site. Felt like I'd been punched on the nads but it all worked out. I went on to bigger and better things later..
Although the new owner did the unthinkable! He painted the car Porsche India red and took the white tuck and roll leather out to replace it with gray tweed!!!!! Arghhhhhhhhh

wow... thats one good lookin '54. As mentioned earlier, no pain no gain. Lotta old timers tell me to never get attatched to a car (and/or woman) http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif . Sounds too damn hard for me.

That sucks man, but you are on track to "Rat Rod Stardom"
You will soon be able to afford any shitbox you want......

It will be called the "M/F Dream Rod."
Built by the rulers.

These are the sacrifices that make it real, you are earning it.

BTW you should have a song coming to you by the end of the week. Sorry it has taken so long, hope it hasn't delayed anything. I would be the coolest guy ever, if I wasn't such a fuck up.

Im acually building the M/F dream rod now...

your Shit box is going to be called the "Wisconson Warrior"
and lm going to promote it as Wisconson style...to all the Californians..

You know I tossed all my plan for building my roadster after I saw the Bleedster in person....

I needed that song 4 weeks ago....

I just waiting on to release this DVD J/K http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Evel,

I found a store in Chicago that's interested in carrying MFS just based on my description. You'll get your money back 10 fold.

Evel,

I'm sure you're still sensitive on the subject, but are the tail lights you used on your (formerly) Ford, '56 Olds tail lights? If so, where'd you get 'em? I've not been able to find reproductions, just occasional original items with cracks/chips etc.

Thanks,
randy

p.s. bitchin' car. It's someone else's car now, but it's still COOL
