hey all - I updated the Lonestar Round Up site - now have a more complete schedule for the bands performing all weekend. I also swapped the background out to white - some folks were having a hard time printing info off the site, so this should make that easier.
http://www.lonestarroundup.com/
I'm still adding car clubs that will be attending, so be sure and add that info on your registration - I'll post the club name , and a link to your site (if you have one) off the roundup site
so far we have:
The Kontinentals, host club - South Austin, Texas
The Knowbodys, Knowwhere
The Outkasts - Texas
Road Reapers C.C. - Woodlands, TX
The Barons, San Antonio, TX
Road Rockets, Texas
Chrome Czars Motor Club, Chicago, IL
The Draggins, Detroit MI
who am I missing or forgetting? lemme know and I'll post it.
what about the Pedestrian Killers?
The Primates? (Zenor, I'm looking in your direction, sir)
Deadbeats?
Chupacabras?
sound off!

I made the mistake of missing the Roundup last year... Never will I do that again.
If there is any possible way for you to go, I highly reccomend it.

I'm there. Gotta get my money sent in this week.
Whole family will be in tow on this one.
Since my kids are coming I almost decided not to bring my car and ride down with some AC, but I got threatened by
Flt-Blk since we usually use my tailgate to sit on as base camp.
I think the real reason is he's afraid there won't be any bologna sandwiches served off the taigate if the wagons not there and he might go hungry. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

i'd like to go but i have to pick from a couple others (money reasons), I am going to Ft. Smith and Denison so i would have to choose between the round up and Dewey and I'm leaning toward Dewey then again who knows maybe i'll make all four.
buzzard
01-26-2004, 01:12 PM
That's easy Jester:
If your car is ready, come to the Roundup. Less time for something else to come up that you have to spend $$$ on.
If you car ain't quite ready, Dewey will give you more time to get it on the road.
If your car won't be ready for either, flip a coin?
Jester
01-26-2004, 01:21 PM
maybe i should try to make the Round up and Dewey and say to hell with Denison?

Hey fuk nutz you need to follow me down there cause I'm goin. I may not make dewey this year but we'll see and I am definately going to Ft. smith if I have to sleep in my damn car. Take both the chopped chevy's that'd be cool chopped 4dr then a chopped 2dr from the same town. You can coun't at least one of the Slo Pokes to be there, which is me. I'll either be in my 60 moore door or hopefully my recently chopped 54.

Need to set up a time @ show Saturday for short HAMB gathering. My 32 will not be street legal/licensed in time, so will only be there Saturday. Would really be nice to meet a bunch of you guys in person. We need t-shirts, window decals or something to identify HAMBer cars.

Is anyone coming from or going thru Dallas on the way to Austin ? If so how about a meeting point and doing a cruise all together down to Austin ? Hey are the Coollows going ?

The Coollows will be represuntin' like a mutherfucker!
I just booked our rooms. Dammit Austin motel was full.
We are staying about 5 miles from the Cont. Club, so no drunken staggering to the rooms after the shows!!!
We will all get our checks in the mail over the next week.
We will hopefully have 7-10 cars this year, and a couple of bikes.
Is there any news on the Friday the 26th AM cruise from Dallas to Austin (with a stop in Waco for burgers)?
The Coollows are down!
O, we will be bringing the Coolhoes with us...

Right on! sounds like were gonna have a crowd - bring it on... I added you fellas to the car club list
a few more schedule changes - we added the LeRoi Bros to the Saturday park lineup and The Fabulous Harmonaires (50s/60s Doo Wop outfit from Dallas) on Sat night.
San Jose and Austin Motel are booked up - but the Homestead Suites are also pretty close to the club - you might check there if you're having a hard time finding a room - 507 South First Street, (512) 476-1818
