The Studebaker Museum is on my list of things to do someday. Also the Auburn Cord Duesenburg Museum is nice and it right off I-69 in Auburn. ('bout an hour or so from SB)

You can go to Terre Haute and see...um.....well maybe you should just avoid Terre Haute.

Well, the screwed up traffic on 294/ 80 from I88 to the tollroad exit is just friggin amazing. You may unfortunatly may need to take that route. Woodwids and Brasswinds, the "worlds biggest music store" is there, right off 80. they sat its the biggest, I dont have a clue if its true, but it looks impressive.

i figure if im going to drive the ford all the way to indy this summer i might as well try and schedule to hit some event or at least get in on some garage crawl action along the way and meet some hambers

havnt realy looked at a map real hard yet but i guess this would include preety much any one inbetween sioux city ia and the general south bend and indy areas

maybe meet up with the michigan bitches if its only like a couple hours from kustombuilders?

I'm from Fort Wayne, IN. There's nothing cool to speak of in South Bend. Not that I've ever found. There are some lakes though, if you're into that thing. Yeah, the Auburn Cord Deusenberg Museum is pretty cool, been there a couple times. If you have the time, check it out. If you want to meet the Gay Michigan bitches, we can set something up at our house, like Kustombuilder said, we're about an hour, hour and a half from South Bend. EASY drive over 94east to 69 north and we're at exit 60. Not bad. Let us know and we'll work something out http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

yeah, the rest of the Gay Bitches are about 2 hours east (Kritz, Hot rod to hell, hotrodladycrzr, Fat Hack, MrGasser, Roadstar, DetroitDraggin, Beatnik and prolly a couple i've forgotten) or 1 hour west (Mongo). then there is Levis Classic about 3 hours north, Hotroddrummer about 45 minutes north. and the Midland girls (Hatch, Donzie, Fab32, Fuelpump) are all kinda north east about 3 hours or so. we're kinda centraly located. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

sounds cool, ill give every one another hollar as soon as we naildown a date, probably will be the first part of july, use back to the fifties as the first longer shake down run. you can drive something all over short distances for years and nothing goes wrong you get 4 hours out and something snaps. so figure id rather have it happen like 6 hours out with lots of ppl i know rather then 12 plus hours and all alone :S

so in south bend we got a cord muesem and a huge music store.

what about indy??? no bodys alowed to go on the trip with us if there not car ppl http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

nope, the ACD museum is in Auburn, not south bend. Auburn would be about an hour east of SB.
