FNG to HAMB/but Ima OG Elmerite

I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself...I am new HAMBer but an oleschooler....I just turned 37 I was introduced to the Hotrod world by "choprods" when I was a kid 8 or 9yrs old back in the 70's in Elmer, MO...then got a HD m/c education from my uncle in my teens and late 20's...I am hardcore, hardheaded, nonconfomist, that doesn't like it unless it's chopped, channeled, sectioned, fast and streetable and pissing off the purists...I love black and flames and skulls...I have always owned at least one hotrod or muscle car...Even the 5 yrs I lived in Hawaii...I eventually ended up in Nashville, TN where I had my own shop and recently did a TV show for CMT that didn't go so well....too many tv types that knew everything about building a show and nothing about building a car....needless to say we parted ways and I have decided to come back to the country...So under the supervision of "the chopper", my mentor and a master of his style and craft, were gonna chop my 41 panel...which he says is a fairly painless process:confused: easy for him to say he's chopped over 600 rides.....no worries (there's no wood in it right KB?...lol), hopefully with with a perfect mix of olo'school knowhow and some newstyle concepts and components I will end up with my first personal fatfender custom...
I look forward to sharing my triumps and tragadies with you (like driving my trailer hitch through my PERFECT 41 grille) grace is just a gift I guess...
I welcome you all to corrospond/comment...I guess it's time to get in there while it cold and gettem together so we can go play when it's warm..Happy Holidays to all and have a great safe New year...
