I'm workin on my 52 chevy to get it ready for the Lonestar Round-Up and I want-need to put Dropped Spindles on it but I haven't been able to find any. I know they're out there does anybody know who I need to contact about that? or does anyone have some they might be willing to sell me? I'm also looking for a front disc brake conversion kit for the original or dropped spindles on the original suspension. Please and Thank you!

I've got a friend that has the dropped uprights, offset steering arm,and shocks for your car everythings new he wants $300 for it all and will throw in a set of lowering blocks and shackles for those narrow stock leaf springs.

If you've got one of these old Chevies, you really need catalogs from RB's, and Chev's of the 40's. Both contain both stock and custom parts for 39-54 Chevies. Everything from trim, to engine parts, to suspension, to stock upholstery.

most of the suppliers gets their stuff from http://www.fatmanfab.com - speedway sells converion spindle kits but the spindles then require machining - this kit is one of the better ones that dont require machining- http://www.ecihotrodbrakes.com/early_chevy_discbrake_conversions.html

If the deal with Daddyo54 falls through you should contact Buffalo ent. He advertises on inliners.org. He can drop/ modify your original spindles 2 1/4" for $250 He also has rings you can weld into your lower control arm which allows you to run Camaro shocks.

When I bought mine a while back I found that all of the big name ones widened the track 1.5'' total . I wanted to run some reverse wheels and didnt want it any wider. So I found a guy in Arlington Washington who makes\sells parts for the 37-54 chevy cars. His company name is Buffalo Enterprises and he has the knuckles that you need 2 1/4'' drop if i remember right. Sorry I do not have a number but you should be able to find it.

finished driven and has been sold long ago.
Do an intro and stop being stupid dredging up old junk.
