I got a set of Bat Wings from speedway motors and they are set up at a angle? when mounting them would they lean in or out on top????

Bottom is longer than top so the axle will lean back on the top. Is that what you're asking?

Have you test fit them to the axle?

I think what he's asking is have you test fit them to the axle?. These questions sometimes answer themselves when you have all of the parts in one place. I'm guessing the batwing is angled like that to compensate for the "smile".

You have them reversed the one on the left goes on the Drivers side looking at front of car. The axle boss'es are at an angle. The bracket part that the hairpins attach to should be perpendickular to the ground. JFC, Mikey, you really couldn't figure that out?

ok well I guess knowone has ever run bat wings...Ill test fit them after work and post what works best
thanks
When installed, they will be vertical, as Grimlok said, to compensate for the axle boss angle.

The axle curves up at the perch bolts, right?
Not the drop area, but the area where the perch bolt goes through.
The perch bolt bore is not vertical, but goes through at an angle.
Once you have it figured out which batwing goes on which side of the axle you'll end up with the back side of the batwing vertical where the radius rod bolts on.
