OK, first, a quick introduction. I don't own a rod of any sort (or even an American car) and have been nothing but a lurker on here for a while. Until I have the money/space to actually build a rod (want all steel/flathead/rat style), I'll probably stay a lurker. I live down in Cedar Park, TX (just outside of Austin)
On to the TECH.
There have been some great articles posted. The question is, how to save them for future reference? You could print them out, but why not save them on your computer? You don't want to save them as html because that creates a bunch of folders and crap. Instead, if you are running Internet Explorer (sorry Mac/Netscape guys), you can save it as an MHT file. MHT files take all of the text and photographs and save it as a single file. Easy access for later!
Here's how (it's pretty simple):
1) Click on the page you want to save.
2) When the page has loaded, click the File\Save As menu in IE. http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-7/306293/Save_As.jpg
3) On the save as window, select the Web Archive, single file (*.mht) selection.
4) Click on the Save button.
The entire page (images and text) are now saved in a single file for later use.
