If you find yourself with a wet HAMB calendar, because you are a dumbass and left it outside on a table when you went camping alst weekend, here's the way you can dry it off without destroying it.
1. Keep the calendar damp until you can peel it apart. The people that chose the paper did a very good job, it didn't turn to hamburger immediately upon getting wet.
2. When you get home, find a big table or 2 and lay 4-5 bath towels out flat on it.
3. Carefully peel the pages apart from the bottom corners, being careful not to tear them. The top glued edge should be gooey and falling apart.
4. Lay the pages flat on the towels, the pages should not touch.
5. Wait 2 full days, then rearrange the pages and put a big ass speaker on top of the pile to flatten the pages.
6. Carefully glue the edge back together by spreading a thin coat of Elmer's glue on the edge, while it is being flattened by the speaker.
7. Hang you handiwork up, and never take the damn thing camping again.
Thank you.

Curious...how did the calendar come to be wet...rain, snow, fog, hurricane, bear? Do they have bears in Florida? Alligators then?
And why did you take it camping?
R-
That is hilarious!!!

That is so funny. But necessity being what it is, the calender got wet and now we know how to dry it out. Go figure. There's a message in here somewhere, just got to figure out what it is. Funny post And good replies!

Possibly the main reason I "lurk" on the HAMB is the great tech post, which I have found to be some of the best on the web. This baby doll is the classic of all classics. I just recently lost my Skip Readeo wiring book to the evil rain. If only your post had come six months earlier.

HRLC got it, I was gonna have HAMBers sign it, got Duck and SwitchbladeTeeth, then the Jack started to kick in, and that's how it got left on the table outside my camper.

Some did.....along with some of the "other" stuff those boys did with those calendars.
Those are going to be REAL collectable. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
