Hey that copper rose is pretty cool.
Sent off another Desk Top Art Work yesterday to a HAMBer. SHHH don't tell him, he told his wife it will be his Christmas present to himself from her. :D
Anyway, its # 63 in the series and is a rendition of a 50 Chevy Pickup. The lift off hood reviels the inline 6 with dual "carbs" and split exhaust. I almost got another one done this week, but alas, real work got in the way again. Maybe tomorrow, but probably next week. Gene

I understand the ducks and boobs being together. It seems like every time I see boobs, there is a bill associated with them.
Anyway, AMAZING artwork again this week. Those scale metal cars are really getting ridiculously good! Hellfish, I am having to resist all kinds of jokes about the box and place to put your tool but that thing is gorgeous. I'd be afraid to actually use for more than a display.
Great stuff guys. One of these days I'm going to get off my ass and post up too.

Figure the artshow desrves some affort, so I just spent some time outside and with Photoshop, doing these.
Haven't dne much experimentation with digital, so I didn't really know what to expect, these are the result of just doing what I might have done with film.

Thanks for remembering my stuff. I been busy (trying) to update the website. It'll have more art on it, images from local events, and (hopefully) historical rod stuff. Just learning the software is a huge leap, so check back when you can. I'm finding lots of holes in it already.

Hi Mike, I also remember you showing me pics of that 29 roadster pickup sitting out in the yard, I wanted that bad. I've always assumed that is the same body that now makes fast salty runs. You had the best links page going back then!

You assume right. That's the main reason 1149 is a roadster pick-up, we built it with what we had available.
The quality of search engine results along with other interests has allowed me to let maintenance of the links page slide. that type of page is no where near as important as it was back in the earlier days. I really should give it some time over the christmas break and at least clean it up.

Here's some pics of a toolbox I just finished for Hellfish. It's for his girlfriend.
Great work, Joel! In case anyone was wondering, that's metal flake in a rattle can (Seymour paint) with regular car clear over it. It looks a little uneven on camera, not so much in real life. I was having trouble with the aerosol in the can.
I made the lunchroom at the shop look like a 50's diner, but could never find a cool set of 50's style speakers. So I went to Goodwill, got an old set of speakers, and made these enclosures from some old aluminum I had around the shop. They are real hard to photograph, but I'm stoked by the way they came out............

WOW! lotsa talent on here. In the last 2 or 3 years of checkin out the art shows here, it's cool to see how everyones art has evolved and keeps getting better and better. Here's one for Tingler, it's not my best one that's for sure. I was out of a lot of colors and my damn Createx was cold and lumpy. Took all I could do just to get this one done, but F it, here it is anyway.
