What is the little ! triangle located under the names in the posts?

What is the little ! triangle located under the names in the posts?

running my mouse over it, it pops up Report Bad Post. I guess its a way for us to blow the whistle on someone when there is a questionable post or reply.

But thats just a guess...

I noticed some people do not have one under their names. I don't have one below my avatar.

You do have one. The other hambers can see it. You just cant see it because why would you report yourself for having a bad post.
