hello all,I know I should be posting in the message board but it wouldn't let me,so I'll go here and take the heat.
I live in Perth,Western Australia and have just bought a 1932 ford roadster,kind of(I'll get back to the kind of in a sec)it's running a flathead with 3 97's and a 4spd manual(stick-shift??)dropped I beam with 4 bar up front and trailing arm/semi-eliptic rear( I think that the correct way to describe the rear!)It is steel bodied hiboy style with steelies.
As for the kind of,its actually a cut down Sport coupe.They have chopped off the top of the door on the body accent line and made up some windscreen posts to make it look like a roadster.This was done in about 1965 and is a very neat job,but I'd like to make it back into a sport coupe.(check classifieds soon)
I also go bike riding with another HAMBer(FCute) on our Dyno/stretched cruiser bicycles with a bunch of other rodders once a week and cause some mayhem.
I hope you guys will help me out with the many questions I'll ask,mainly about the flathead.I've had a lot of chevs and later fords,but this is my first flattie.
let the fun begin!
