hello all,I know I should be posting in the message board but it wouldn't let me,so I'll go here and take the heat.
I live in Perth,Western Australia and have just bought a 1932 ford roadster,kind of(I'll get back to the kind of in a sec)it's running a flathead with 3 97's and a 4spd manual(stick-shift??)dropped I beam with 4 bar up front and trailing arm/semi-eliptic rear( I think that the correct way to describe the rear!)It is steel bodied hiboy style with steelies.
As for the kind of,its actually a cut down Sport coupe.They have chopped off the top of the door on the body accent line and made up some windscreen posts to make it look like a roadster.This was done in about 1965 and is a very neat job,but I'd like to make it back into a sport coupe.(check classifieds soon)
I also go bike riding with another HAMBer(FCute) on our Dyno/stretched cruiser bicycles with a bunch of other rodders once a week and cause some mayhem.
I hope you guys will help me out with the many questions I'll ask,mainly about the flathead.I've had a lot of chevs and later fords,but this is my first flattie.
let the fun begin!

the bikes look great,I'll take some pics next time we ride,in about a week.My bike is just a Dyno Ultra Glide,red with white scallops.We ride about 20miles when we go so most of the bikes are a little more ridable than the one in your pic,but most of us have a 'short ride' bike as well.
How do I get to post in the main message board?

Is that you 37chev? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

What the hell do you want to go and turn it back into a Sport Coupe for? Don't you know real Hot Rods don't have roofs, plus, I think Sport Coupes are a little weird looking. If the thing was cut down back in the 60s, then it has some history.

Hurry up with them pics.

PS Don't know why you can't post in the main section. Is there an error or something?
