Is there a trick to installing the shift top??

we tried it out of gear and the shift forks popped on but it won't go thru the gears?

no exp with these so i figured I better ask before I screw somethin' up...I appreciate it

If you can slid the gears see if the shifter opperates. Make sure its not in two gears. No tricks to it.

thanks...all we did different was put the shifter on with the top instead of after??..its shiftin great.

I think my boys gonna put it in his room til we get the frame ready and run the gears while he's doin homework!
