damn... I enjoy a good fight once in a while but man, walk in someplace like your shit doesn't stink and you'll find the wrong side of a few people quick. I run a site with over 40,000 members, most of them high school age to 30, and honestly, we don't even see premadona stunts like that. The closest we get is a weapy/indignant goodbye once in a while where people fish for people to beg them to stay. I'm sorry, but you breathe the same air I breathe. Is this a pre-emptive one of those?

Granted I'm a noob here, but I got some advice. Drop the premadona routine. So you've written articles and have been published, great. But do understand that there's more than a small handfull of journalists in the world. you're not rare by a long shot. Now from what I see here, you seem to think that because you've been published, you are free to order around underlings no matter where you are. What you don't understand is that you may be a big fish in a small pond where you're from, but this aint your pond.

You are a guest here, just like I am. I do graphics work for a site with 40,000+ registered members and on average 70-80,000+ unique IP addresses per month. My work gets viewed by all those people, yet you don't see me running around here acting like the rest of the forum should be kissing my ass. Hell I don't even do that on my board. In fact, since you write about what these people are out in the trenches building, and that provides your paycheck, you should be kissing their asses, every last one of them.

Now, even if all of the above isn't relivant one bit, at least understand this. You have a position of importance in your small pond. In coming to some other pond flying the banner of your pond, you are a representative of it and it is your responsability to conduct yourself in such a manner that reflects positively on your pond. Having said that, I want nothing to do with your pond based on your conduct here and I'm probably not the only one.

That sheds some light on it... but nah I don't think you were wrong. As someone running a forum like this, you have the duty to be the responsable one and try and calm down fights where ever applicable and prudent. Whether or not she started round one (I wasn't here, so I can't say), who'd have guessed she'd start round 2 because she couldn't let it lie after it was dealt with properly by an authorized staff member.

Again, I will state that I wasn't around for round 1, but juding by the character she displayed in round 2, I stand by my previous statements. Oh no, someone gave her a hard time on the internet. Wow... alert the presses. Given that she likes to wield her limited fame like a battle axe and doubly so that she is doing so on someone else's board, I dunno. She should have taken it like an adult, been gracefull, and taken the high road, especially since she's an ambassador to her board (especially since she's not shy about dragging their name into her personal conflict).

It all reminds me of a school yard scuffle that winds up with a "my daddy can beat up your daddy" routine, and in this case her biggest baddest thing she brought was "screw you guys, I'm taking my toys (star power?) and going home". Oh noes, I'm never gonna feel whole again :rollseyes:

Somone please help me!! I am a feature editor for OL SKOOL RODZ and I need to locate 1940 Chevy or Mack Truck (Cab over/Full size transport truck not a pickup) Headlights with the white/clear guidelight on top. Circa 1940 with the bullet shape housing (Approx 10") and wide chrome bezel in front. The guidelight sits on top and is kinda square shaped. The mount post is like a round ball, not the flat kind.

Its For my photo shoot for a featured ratrod that has been involved in an accident prior to my photo shoot and needs a replacement light. HELP ME HELP ME PLEASE. I will pay for it and give special thanks credit to you in my article. Please keep the price reasonable. One replacement lamp or a set is OK. I've got friends scouring the USA for this damn light and cant find it!! Photo shoot is end of December/EArly January.

This is the first board I've seen with a manditory intro, but I can see it's usefullness. Gets people out of the woodwork and breaks the ice.

edit: after searching and looking at some of the intro grief people get when they don't find it, I can see how it could get real old real quick and quite annoying :shrug: people need to settle. It's just the internet. Kick back and enjoy it, and if you can't, there's always porn, or dare I say it, the world outside, aka real life. The world could be a bitchin place if everytime someone felt like getting butt hurt or squabbling over something tiny, they'd turn a wrench, work the gearbox, or go get laid. Plenty of better reasons to get worked up over, like someone telling you what you should have done to your ride :cool:
