I doubt those few seconds were enough to save the show.
If anything,it would make that Blue and Yellow thing look even worse. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

O/T, but at least with that American Chopper series the dad totally flies off the fuckin' handle at the drop of a hat and then his argument has no real leg to stand on. makes the boyd's crew look like a bunch of jackasses, what with tryin' to jump pedal cars on rollerblades and shit...

it's kind of embarassing really...

And they weren't even rollerblades. They were those faggy sneakers with wheels built in!!

Working at Boyd's must be a real picnic.Kind of makes you think about the old saying "Poor planing on your part doesn't constitute an emergancy on my part".

Not really....it was more like he just wasted a lot of my company's time, and a lot of his own money. We used to dip braze the hubs into some of his prototype wheels. We did dozens of them. They had huge flaws in the design that we tried to bring to his attention. He gave us rough wheels, we would braze the hubs, then he would do the final machining on them after they were brazed. The problem was that he would machine right through our braze joints and there was always this huge probability of salt bleed out (for those of you that aren't familiar with dip brazing....salt bleed out is bad). So we basically told him that his and his engineer's design wasn't going to work and we explained why and what would have to be done in order to make it work. Then he basically came back and wanted us to redesign the wheels for free. I think his words were, "What?.....you don't want to give me $10,000 of free advice?" To which we said "no". He ended up trashing the whole design and throwing away thousands of dollars.

He did have one nice ass shop though.
