I like the look Tuck. Hey by the way how much did you cut on the front springs. I asked this before and I thought it was 2 coils in front. that right?

hey thanks rev... I think there is 2 coils cut outta those springs... its 2 or 1 1/2 coils damn it... I almost think its 1 1/2 b/c it doesnt quite hit the snubbers in front.

hey stevied... im gonna paint the whole car eventually and the rims will match. Its that pukey color on the firewall... and I know what im going for even though many may question WTF am I doing... haha.

I'm aiming for a high school parking lot cruiser circa mid to late fiftys... not far off from STOCK but enough cool to make it rule.

Cool I'll only go 1 1/2. I could only find 3" blocks with the gift certificate I had at autozone, so that's what it'll get. You comming down to the round-up? that pukey color looks like the stock color of my 49 too.

Since I was one of the high school parking lot curisers in the 50s, I gotta say that the first thing we did was get rid of the gay 16 inchers and put on eye poppin 15 inchers.
And wide whites were the norm, not the Fashion trendy thing to do.

its hard to tell the diff. between a 15 and 16 right next to each other... but the 16 up from 14 makes a big difference... and the fact that they are'nt reverse wide offset rims.

The cars actually only about a inch taller than it was...

JIMC http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I know everyone dumped on the 16" tires, but 49's came w/em factory and I had them on my sedan when I bought it... I lowered the car with the 16" rims b/c I couldnt afford different rims at age 16... so maybe hes a poor high school kid that saved his money for speed equpment to GO FAST and tuck'n roll to impress the girls... haha
