I use Dogpile, put in a search "Nose Art" and came up with a couple promising sites.

Go here and look around...........

Yeah Lady Luck was originally used as nose art so you might wanna surf that way as stated above.

In one of those "The first year of Hot Rod" of "The first year of Hop Up" I seem to remember a story about some guys who were producing graphics back then and there is a lady luck in there. I know this doesn't help with the flash your looking for but it is some interesting history behind the desgin.

I think the one he wants has the horse shoe in one hand, a double open end wrench in the other, the cloverleaf covering the panty area, and a banner that says Lady Luck. I had that one back in the late 60's, but it was already old when I got it.

If I remember right, I thought it was an upside down spade (i.e. from a deck of cards) that covered her panty area, the shape being somewhat symbolic of what was lying underneath (or maybe I am just a pervert!)...

JohnnyAce...any update on the DMH piece, I am dying to see it!

Here's one of the more historically correct ones I've seen for a while.
Far as I can tell, exactly like the ones sold at the Carpinteria Thunder Bowl midget races in 1951 or so.
(I had an embroidered patch like this that dad brought home from the races.)

Here are some lady luck pictures that are historically significant. I always thought lady luck was a hot rod thing, but this P-38 was painted in 1944 by Fred Hayner, a part of the 434th fighter squadron. He recreated it for me 6-7 years ago. The original artwork came from a matchbook cover from a bar in New Orleans. This is right from the horse's mouth. Interesting, ain't it?
