Hey all whats up. Another Quick Question

I just picked up a 1954 Buick Roadmaster. I havent had much time to mess with it yet. I was wondering if this car is 12 volt or 6 volt. I am hopping that its not 6 volt my 51 buick is 6 volt and its a pain in my butt. Thanks in advance

Should be 12 volt, my 55 was 12. How big is the battery thats the way i can always tell? Nate

Well there is no battery in the car hehehe. Its the long battery try though like they have in the earlier 50's cars. I do know that they made the 12 volt battery's long at first

Check your generator, If its 12 volt it should say delcoy 12 volt?? nate

Hey kustumizer you know as long as I have been working on Kustoms i have always delt with converting a 6 volt system. I would have never thought to look on the Gen. Thanks man. I feel stupid now hahaha. Thats for your help

It's a 12 volt according to Motor's. Prolly got a Dynaflush too. An' a closed driveline. But you have another Buick and know that.
