naaah thats to modern i will just roll down the windows if it gets to hot http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
ah well i will probally run my 1963 401 nailhead in this one...so will not be a totally traditional late 40ies custom but will look on the outside
but still maybe a 1963 nailhead isnt hightech warning either like an tpi engine or something

Slick project.
Hey besides looks can anyone enlighten me on the little scoop over the back glass. Always liked the look but never knew anyone that could tell me if they ever had a function.
BTW that one really qualifies as down in the weeds. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nice one. Seems to have a few more body modifictios. Is it already channeld, rear part-license plate, trunklid and early '30s rear window. Or do I need to put on my glasses?

fade away fenders onto the doors, maybe a lincoln zephyr 1940 grille i know where one is just have to buy it and its for sale http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif , will of course have rear fenders maybe with skirts.. want to run hollywood flippers on the car. will probally be some changes like maybe modify the rear part of the roof like make more angle and maybe cover the rear side windows up making it a 3window coupe instead..
wanna do something about that trunklid and the resessed licence plate thingy (will probally remove it)
mr42 cool thanx for the picture, i bought it from gothenburg and the seller was kind enough to drive it up here http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
here is a computer made sketch i made of how i might want it

Sorry Psycho, I couldn't resist...and I think Lincoln stole Studebaker's 1939 grille for their own...'39 and '40 Stude grilles are nearly identical...the Buick will look bitching when you get it that far!!!

Your vision of the car looks great! I think it´s something i haven´t seen before. 3-window conversation works with those long lines.
I like it.
What's the history on it?
