The black deck was on the tail end a couple weeks ago and went to trey here on the board.

The natural one is still available if anyone is interested.

The toilet seat is in a local import shop. Tingler, I'm not the monster master you are but had some fun with it.

Great start this week.

A work in progress. The tire and wheel are from a 1932 Ford 2 door sedan I just finished striping a couple of weeks ago.A little hight tech for here but a nice car tastefully done.i still haven't seen it w/ upholstery yet.

An interesting story behind the tire and wheel. The guy bought the sedan from the second owner awhile back for from what I understand a very good price. As a small token of appreciation,he made up this tire and wheel, painted it,and I lettered it and made the clock face for the hubcap. He's going to give it to him when he gets back from the U.P. next week.

Here's a couple t-shirt graphix I've done in past years. The original artwork is made with black createx and Alan Johnson detail brush. I usually scan the artwork and finish it up in Photoshop. Sometimes the whole thing is painted, like the striping-shirts, and scanned after that. For the striping I use Mack series 10 striper size #000. They are usually done with Createx as well on thick cardboard.
- I just found out how to add pixc from photopucket and just want to check how it works...

Thanks for checkin' out the pics, I try to manage these programs to submit some more pictures for the next weeks art show.

Though this is not a post about art, it is a way off topic post about an artist.

Last night, I bought a can of Von Dutch Energy Drink at Target. This, in my estimation, is one of the unholiest products I have ever been witness to. So I had to buy one. I won't give you the website, since I don't want to help promote the blasphemy, but if you Google it, you'll find it.

Did a bunch of new stuff for the Picnic a few weeks back. This a sort of Von Dutch tribute piece (still not totally finished). Harvey Shakin on one side of a big bowl thing and one of my originals on the other side along with a flying eyeball cut from a Jada toy box. Then I made a mount to sit it on using a broken gear and a large bearing race so the whole piece can be rotated, with the up rights a couple of flange segments from the scrap bin at work. The whole thing is kind of a free standing sculpture! This whole piece contains a lot of ironies! Well things that I am sure Von Dutch would find ironic! Geoff aka whodaky

Vector it is just a sculpture I did for a friend's '50th ( Tony Cassar ).
I have an old channeled '32 roadster that had a hideous custom dash in it. I thought I would like a stock style dash in it. So step up and buy one, no way;that's just not me. So I made some dies and pressed my own dash!
So the sculpture is a dash I pressed in Aluminium from those dies. One side I have polished and the other I painted and striped. The base is a casting of a quick change cover. I made a bracket to join the two together. I designed the bracket so the quickchange cover would reflect onto the polished side of the dash.
It ws a lot of work, but Tony is a very good friend. Might even make one of these for myself some day!
Vector, your stuff is just getting better and better! Geoff ak whodaky

Like I said, here's some crap I painted. I've been working on this toolbox forever. This is my first attempt at a flyin' eye. I haven't quite decided whether it's done, but I've learned some things from it that I wouldn't do again. There's some lettering above it in a new alphabet I've been teaching myself after being inspired by the Roth "You Can Learn how to Letter in One Day" (Or similar title) book I ordered from Mooneyes. The font came from dafont.com.

The other sides of the toolbox are different. I'll post those when I feel like they're sort of done. Maybe later tonight.

Also, there's a floor tile and a wine bottle holder thing I striped.

Okay, here's another view of my toolbox. I still have a couple more sides to paint, and one in the works.

I havnt as of yet but I'm sure i could. What ya got in mind? Harley stuff. Tight chops along the line of Indian Larry's bikes. Engine drawings would look really cool in your style, especially older ones like 74 & 80 cu. in. flatheads and knuckleheads!!!

Lots of great art this week. Muttley, that shirt kicks ass. I really dig your work, Hidden. Very cool as usual. And Whodaky, very nice striping!

I haven't been able to do much in the way of art lately:

Here's one I did for a panel jam:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v720/spent1313/lucha01.jpg

Here's a shot of a box I did for a Hamber. It's about five percent of the work I did on the box, but I forgot to take any more pics.

The last two are ones I did to keep up on my practice a bit. I'm gettin' rusty. The second one isn't finished. I sketched out some things I want to add in stabilo, but I need to find some time to break out the paint.

Got inspired and did this scribble last night. Does it still count for the Friday Art Show?

This is a bit late but I just got this in the mail this morning and had to share it.A box of 24 mouth operated airbrushes made somewhere in the 50's judging by the box art.I don't intend to use them but add to my collection of oddball spray equipment.

Didn't get this one done in time for last weeks Art Show, so I'm putting it in this week. Sold it in less then an hour in the classifieds. This place rocks in more ways then I can count. Thanks Ryan for giving us a place to hang out.

It is a new addition to Doc's Desk Top Art Work collection, and quite a collection it is becoming, if I ever get them sent out..... Gene

Has anybody else noticed that 50Dodge4x4's work gets better every week?

And a T-shirt logo I did

Thanks for the compliments guys, they really mean something coming from you guys. The Art talent that is on here is way over the top. It drives a guy to work hard to get better, so we can hang with all you great ones.

By the way, if Doc see the T shirt logo, he's going to have to have it!. Its cool.
