I need to start looking for some carbs for a manifold I bought. Is the only difference between the car and truck Holley 94 the air horn or is there an internal difference also?

they have a different base...they seem a little larger to me...i had one of each and the wouldn't fit on my intake together, but the car ones would...the base has a longer throttle shaft...which is cool

There is no difference for the flathead versions in external size. The pre 8BA have extended throttle shafts and no rear bowl vacuum port.
The 8BA era have vacuum ports, hi lift and standard nozzle bars and the trucks only have extended shafts. These can be lumped in to the Holley 2100 family. All flathead are .094 venturi.
The Y Block have larger venturis (1" and 1 1/16 versions)and butterflies but still use the same 3 bolt pattern, some bases are slightly thicker. These all have the same vacuum port plus a large spark arrestor port on the base. Again, trucks only (not all) have extended throttles.
These are of the Holley 2110 family.
Dont mix styles on a 2 bbl intake. On trips many use a big venturi in the center and smaller on the ends.
