My name is Bo Harris, age 25 from Campton, Ky. I have been surrounded with cars my entire life, anything car related is interesting to me. I'm in a local car club that was started my my dad and his friends. Our name is the Groundpounders. My first car was a 1976 light blue Pacer with a 406 sbc with 3inch flowmaster exhaust. My senior year i drove a 66 396 4 speed Chevelle pretty much the entire year. After going to the street rod nationals in louisville this year i have been so interested in building a rat rod a can't sleep. Other than my other million projects thats started. My latest project is a 33 chysler, i really like the body because it has suicide doors. My dad had the body sitting in the back of the garage Since I can remember. I have been trying to get most of the parts piled up that i will need. Luckily dad had most of the parts that i need but i'm still not sure what engine to use. I can get a 53 ford flathead with 2 94's on it with a 3 speed , or a 54 chysler 331 hemi with a 4 barrell. I plan on making the headers, more than likely the simple and easy lake style.
If anyone wants to give me their opinion feel free. i hope i didn't bore anyone to sleep.
I really enjoy the site and it looks to be just what i have been looking for.

Hi Bo. I'm just down the parkway in Winchester. The Chrysler sounds like a cool project. I would definitely go with the HEMI - both for more power and to keep it all Mopar. Save the flathead for someone building an old Ford - like me:D (29 Coupe). Seriously though, if you pass on the flatty I would be interested, it's just what I need.
