This is a trike I built when my oldest son was 3 years.
My youngest uses it now . They both have birthday soon ( 6 and 10 years), so I need some inspiration for something new.
So,show some toys you have made.

Frenched antenna, and cut down 49 Chev tail lights.

It's even got tuck and roll upholstery, the upholstery guy said it was like sewing frickin Barbie clothes.

I don't think that flatty is going to fit that trike, but it's a hell of an idea... Just needs more work! Maybe try a V8-60 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Classy trike.
The 36 roadsters pretty darned neat as well.
I see an exhaust pipe sticking out, does it have an engine?

Here's an all teak babycar I made for most of the kids in the family - mine and brothers - when they were little.
This one a bit of a sport coupe, others were a Donald Duck looking sedan, six wheel locomotive and six wheel flatbed truck.
All with stainless axles, washers and acorn nuts.
Finish was a grade of gunstock oil hand rubbed.

Here's a couple of billet aluminum tops I made for my girls when they got a little older.
The shafts are 1/8" drill rod.

Spin em on a hard surface like glass and they'll spin forever.

The thingy in the back was an engineering exercise in close tolerance fit.
Tolerances were so tight that you couldn't hardly get the lid off.
I took a few thousandths off and now, if you hold it by the lid it takes several seconds for the bottom to slide off.
Air has to leak in to let things start moving.

I made em other stuff as well, the most interesting one being a sidecar bicycle.
It was interesting to ride and tough for me to handle, but the kids didn't have a problem with it.
I was too ingrained with the turn right to go left bit and found myself running the sidecar bike off the cement walk pretty often.

Some cool stuff you have made there. That 36 look killer.
Must have been lots of work on that one. Here is the first motorized vehicle I made for the boys.

I'm building a trike for mine, with a QC (made outta electromotor ends) and chrome wheelbarrow wheels, never got to finish it as we moved and I don't have a workshop now, and those gerbils grow so fast that if I want it to get used I either need to get crankin on the trike or on the missus : )
