shoe box bumper swap????

hey guys,

i was wondering if any one had any pix or experence with putting a 53/4 ford bumper on a 49/50 ?

just a thought, and figured some pix couldnt hurt

I found out a 53 Merc front bumper bolts on and fits the 50 Ford. Its dark, I cant take a picture rite now.

I think I used to turn them upsidedown, and they fit the gravel pan real good.........OLDBEET

The 53 and 54 Ford bumpers are not the same!
The 53 has more "curve" and the sides are longer. The 54 has a a "pressing line" in the middle (dont know the right words in English...)
