it runs, but clatters

got my new dizzy in the flatty today. runs good, but at the top of every gear it clatters...Why? too much timing? not enough? This is all new to me.....

Explain clatters?
A pinging flatty sounds like any other pinging engine.

I equate "clatter" to something metallic bouncing around. Like a wrist pin, lifter, etc
