A buddy gave me a set of 36 bones & axel last night. The original wheels are still on it. He said he'd like to keep them for swap meet fodder. Not sure I'd run them, but I thought I'd buy them from him just in case. Seeing how he gave me the rest of the parts, I want to give him a fair price for the wheels. Also what size would they be? I haven't seen them, but they are straight spoke.

Out here in Cali... the standard Ford 16" wheels are DIRT cheap... I couldn't sell the six I had for $15ea... so I gave them to one of our HAMB brothers...

16x4. Hummm, anybody got a pic of anything with wires on front and mags(slots or spokes) on back with some fat tires? In my mind it dosen't seem like it would work. But I'm wrong a lot http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

'36 Fords didn't come with wires, they had wide 5's with the really big bolt pattern. If your front end really has wires that came on it, it's a '35 (16" wheels) or earlier (17" wheels).
