Its time for me to repay my debt to the HAMB, so here it goes. Up for auction are a pair of 1962 Chevrolet scripted valve covers. The chrome is in good shape, but is original. They are very presentable, and functional. These were taken off of my 1962 Impala with a 283. The covers do not have oil fill, or breather holes. The highest bidder on January 17th at 10am est. is the winner. Valve covers will be shipped free of charge once I am notified by Ryan of the payment. LET THE BIDDING BEGIN!

The picture below shows the only dent in the covers, very minor dimple (arrow). And the circled area shows the original wire hold downs.

Do you think the dent can be tapped out without damaging the chrome?

I would think so, but no guarantees, these things aren't like the aftermarket covers, they are quite thick. The dent is minor, and not too noticeable. The only reason that I did not re-install them on my car, I was given a set of finned vette covers to use. Thanks again to everyone for bidding -Joe

If my 62 didn't already have a set I would take 'em

Just under 18 hours left...last chance. I am throwing in a set of valve cover gaskets, they will be shipped to the winner along with the covers as soon as money has reached Ryan.
